In the modern days, it is quite impossible to think of taking a single step without the use of technology. Philips Ariaz is basically nothing but a small portable audio & video player. It offers 16GB internal memory & as per market concern it can be said that it is one of the cheapest MP3 player, which available in the market.
The interesting fact about this Philips Ariaz is it is really easy to access to all users. The adjustment of the equaliser & playing mode in this MP3 player is extremely easy. But, the buttons are tiny, so to those whose having thick finger, it may not be the ideal for them!
Philips Ariaz does not support the H264 & DivX videos. But it can play the WMV files. Also it is able to play the downloaded BBC iPlayer videos. The four hours long battery life is its extra beneficial point, while playing the video. As compare to the other Mp3 players, no doubt it has much more long battery life.
In this new version of the Philips Ariaz the audio quality, no doubt, is superior. Specially, one can understand this when that guy will listen the high end in Pop, jazz & rock tracks.
As per portable audio concern, no doubt, it is a kind of pinnacle gift of technology but as per the video concern it is not that up to the mark.
While playing only the music player, the battery life lasted more than 28 hours. As compare to other MP3 player this battery life is much higher.
One major disadvantage of this MP3 player is that, it does not have Muse’s built-in background noise cancellation. The video resolution too is not up to the mark. But, as per price is concerned, it is comparatively ok.
The one good thing about this Philips Ariaz is that it mainly focuses on the quality music playing & it has done this quite impressively. It may be not multi touch or attached Wi-Fi connection with it, but within reasonable price & for the people of every sector of our society, it is the premium one to accept.

I’m really enjoying my Zune HD because of a couple of reasons. It’s a great device for listening to music, viewing videos and photos, has radio option, supports games, awesome battery life and has a large memory capacity.
While looking for an MP4 player, I looked for great display. Well, if not for the display then I should have bought an MP3 player instead, right? Zune’s OLED display is really awesome and it’s living up to its name. It really is HD. I find the screen size ample enough to enjoy viewing videos and browsing pictures. At least I’m getting what I paid for. And, its screen is sensitive enough to the touch of my fingertips for easy browsing.
I especially like the “two-touch” magnifying function wherein I can zoom in or zoom out pictures using two fingers. And, it’s got radio! Awesome right? Not all MP4s have this option (Ipod Nano 3rd Gen certainly didn’t! ). Having compatible games for it is also a big attraction. Though, compared to Apple products, Zune still really has not much applications and updates.
I have tried other MP4 players before and they tend to “hang” when the memory left is below 2 GB. My Zune’s current free memory is 0.57 GB and it’s working just fine though a bit slower.
Another good thing about Zune is that it is more flexible in terms of video formats. By experience, it allows .mp4 and .wmv files. Another positive trait for Zune is its long battery life– up to 30+ hours of music playback, about 8 hours for videos (which is great!). You don’t have to charge it every now and then. This is a great if you are like me who always sleeps with music in her ears.
As of now, I’m not complaining and I hope things stay this way for a very long time.
